Wheel hub assembly snapped?

First post in here but I’ve recently ran into some trouble regarding wheel hub assemblies on my 1998 ranger with manual hubs and Dana 35 front end. When I bought the pickup a couple months ago I replaced the driver side wheel hub assembly. A week ago the wheel hub assembly snapped directly behind the brake rotor with no reason or warning. I replaced the hub assembly with a new one and last night it snapped again at 65MPH with no reason or warning. Anybody have any ideas as to why this would happen?

Snapped as in the wheel broke off? Or snapped as in 4wd quit working?
