I have a 94 B400 4 wheel drive. all stock. about a year ago i replaced all the rubber bushings in the front end and the wheel bearings. I had to replace wheel bearings again about a week ago at a local shop. Since then I have been back there twice because the front wheel keeps coming loose at the bearing? On the drivers side the wheel bearing lock nut will only stay tight for a couple days. They are trying to tell me now it is the front locking hubs? I have never even put the truck in 4x4 since i have gotten it. I think that is an electrical problem. But my question is, would bad automatic locking hubs cause the wheel to loosen up like that after a day or two? It's killin me!!!

The auto hubs have a locking key that you install in them once the bearings are set up. There is no way for them to back off unless the shop didn't put the locking key back in.
