0k i have an 1985 5 spd ranger i want to use for drifting just want to be diffrent. anyway it has the 2.0l carb in it. Im just woundering if it would be cheaper to build the 2.0l motor thats in it or swap it for an svo motor. I woud like to see around 200 bhp out of it and would love to keep the 2.0 carb because i already have it in the truck. but i dont know if i can get the power and more important the throttle responce i need

thanks for any help

Swap it for an EFI 2.3 turbo engine. You'll never get 200 hp out of a usable 2.0 carbureted engine.

Not without putting in way more money than monkey...turbo is the way to go...or drop in a v8...

got it thanks guys I will keep working on the chassi set up for now
