I wouldn't go larger than 29's or 30's at the max, you'll prolly have some rubbing with 30's

prolly something like 255/70/16's would work

well in that case you could go with as large as 31's or 32's, maybe even 33's, but I stay away from anything bigger than 32's with just a 3" lift, personally speaking

Nitto's are relatively inexpensive, as are BFG's, I know there are alot of places that sell MT's pretty cheap, look around on www.tirerack.com and http://www.discounttiredirect.com/direct/findTireSection.do? that's where I'm getting my Nitto's from, I would also wait and see what everyone has to say, I'm still a relative newb to trucks, lol

hope those sites are helpful for ya

I agree with 06yellowranger. I have 265/75 R16s on my truck, they measure to be about 30". With a body lift you might be able to fit 33's.

How big is your pocketbook?

Stock, stay with what you have, or an inch or two bigger.

lifted, your wallet is your limit...

your only limit is how far you will cut! keep in mind your going to lose low end grunt as your tire size goes up. the size tire you pick is effected by your future mods and if you wheel your truck or not. if you dont wheel you will have to worry less about rubing at full flex. with a body lift you should be safe with no rubing on 31's i know the older rangers always rubed the sway bar first due to tire width. i have a pair of firestone destination MT's i got off a friend who have seen i believe over 30k and are still going strong with maybe 40% tread or more.

ya ... what do you think the best mud tire i could get for not to much $
bfg muds are great, firestone destination mud is a fabulous tire as well. i dont think mud tires are so worth it.out here they are,'cause so good on snow and everything but ice.it really depends on how much mud you see and how often.if for mallcrawlin,i'd go bfg at's--great all around general purpose tire.not so good for anything beyond mild mud tho.

A 31x10.50-15 will fit on your stock rims. That's the biggest I'd go on a 3.0/5-speed unless you want to regear it. The 3.0 does not put out a lot of torque and with too tall a tire it will be a dog.
With a torsion twist up front, you could fit a 32x11.50-15 if you get 15x8 rims with 3.75" backspacing but at 32" or bigger I say drop some coin for 4.56 or 4.88 gears.
