V6 3.0 94' ranger. Not sure what goes here, been like that since i got it and truck seems fine but id rather have shit right

I cant find anything that will connect to it, but the truck runs great without it and gas isnt bad enough to be a big deal, thank you for the quick replyThat is the IAT(intake air temp) sensor.
Should be a 2 wire connector for it in the harness.
It is not an extremely important sensor since MAF sensor calculates air flow based on the cooling of a wire, so air temp is partially included in that.
So engine performance wouldn't be greatly effected.
Working IAT could improve MPG but only slightly.
The Check Engine light(CEL) should be on without that sensor connected, and codes 54 or 64, or 112 or 113 set
Yes, ive never seen the engine light offO2 sensor. are you getting codes? or engine light?
On the other pipe connected to the header there is oneYep, oxygen sensor, it's important unless there is another one connected somewhere close...
