Im tearing down my D35 the one I bought from some guy who had welded it to run heim joints. Anyways I need to get these fricken knuckles off so I can swap em out and I just dont know what to do next. Ive already removed the calipers, discs, bearings, spindle and upper(funny horseshoe thing) and lower cotter pins. Now what? The manual says to remove the upper and lower bolt. Do they mean the funny thing with the alphabet on it? I rotated it with a wrench but it didnt seem to be loosening anything. Where do I go from here

you gotta take the knuckle off the ball joints, that funny thing with the alphabet on it is the caster camber bushings.

There is a bolt that pinches the top ball joint stud. Remove that.

On the lower ball joint stud, there is a cotter pin and nut. Remove them. Then take a pickle fork and drive it between the knuckle and the beam at one of the ball joints.

The other option involves a sledge hammer.........
