What's luckiest break a cop has given you?

He knew exactly what he was doing. Im sure that the officer saw a car covered in sponsor stickers with loud exhaust drive by. Most likely he pulled that close behind to get me to do something stupid. The fact that he kept doing it leads me to believe this. Well, It worked. I just dont think he expected it to be a REAL race car and for me to blast off like that.

Actually, he coulda been giving you the hint to just slow down Headlights tailgating at night aren't a good thing, in fact, I slow down to about 30 when someone is tailgating me at night... stupid tailgaters.

I had a cop try and bait me into a race one night back in 96-97. He was driving an SHO and I was in my Mustang. We lined up at a light, and he kept lunging forward next to me and giving me the nod (you know the one I'm talking about, LOL). It was within a half mile of the police station, so I decided not to. When he took off, I noticed it was a pig in a blanket when I saw his lights in the back window. A couple lights down he go a Civic hatchback to run and he pulled him over. That really pissed me off.

I had a florida state troope pull me over within 5 miles of leaving the bar/pool hall.
He had me do the dummy dance and I know he smelled alcohol on me, but look at me ad said "Your wobbling a bit, but quite frankly, I'd rather find someone a bit more innebriated" HOLY SHYT!! Ok, then stupid me offers. You can find them all at the denny's down 40 thats where we normally go, LOL. He advised me to call a ride and then got in his car and left. I jumped in mine and hauled ass. I dont even come close to drinkin and driving anymore.

True. Except for the fact that I wasnt speeding to begin with. Anyway, I dont speed very often in that car simply due to the fact that its a cop magnet.
I had a friend ask me if I would attempt to out run a cop. "No."

"Yea, but its not like it would be hard to find me. My name's plastered on the windows and how many subaru rally cars do you see driving around town?"

That aside, if you were in a car like mine, you wouldnt slow down for a tailgater. You would do just as I did and put some distance between yourself and them.

Doesn't matter what car I'm in, I'd still slow down, because it pisses tailgaters off further, and that makes me laugh.

a friend and i were driving his old mazda b2200 goin across the bridge here and he decided to just take off haulin ass across it. he wasnt using blinkers. he was weaving in and out of traffic and was doin 85 in a 35. just cruisin past cars. then he was like "did i just pass a cop" and sure thing he did. the cop didnt even pull us over. he just hauled ass up next to us. rolled down his window and yelled "slow your ass down" and let us go. i think that was the luckyest break ive ever seen

That particular cop pointed out that this really dont matter LOL. He obviously couldnt read your name on the car and had never seen your around town, LOL>

Around here they will walk by the cars parked in front of the bar and leave a chalk mark on the passenger side tire one for every hour when you leave they'll pull ya over to see how much you've been drinking. My friend found that out the hard way but he was in the band and was sober when he left.... Oops cops gave there secret away. They always hover around the ally ways around the bars too just waiting for anything. They probly give out more public intox, than any other offence. Just for tring to walk home insted of drive. At least they're hanging out at the bars and not setting up speed traps on the roads and giving people speeding tickets at 2am and justifying it because they're "endangering other drivers" even though there's nobody else on the road for 3 miles in either direction.

I had a cop let off the hook about 20 years ago (when I was a teen) for running a red light, and it was obvious I did. He did cuss me out though, but he let me off.

But this dckhead state trooper just slapped me with a wreckless driving ticket for spinning my wheels after accelerating from a stop sign on wet pavement after a rain storm. My wife was in the passenger seat and my 2 year old son was in the back seat. The reason why I know without doubt I am innocent is my wife was SSSSOOOOOOO pissed at the trooper. If I was wrecklessly driving with my son in the back seat, my biggest worry wouldn't be a judge or state trooper, it would be the can of woop butt my wife would unleash on my back end.

No word from my attorney if the dckhead is going to let it fizzle. And this really pisses me off because I have a CDL license because I drive a school bus from time to time during coaching season.

wish we had cool cops around knoxville. i got pulled over a couple months ago because the cop said i had a head light out and i knew that i didnt so i turned them on and told hip to count the bright spots on the side of the gas station i pulled over at. he told me it didnt matter that the ticket was already written and that i can fight it in court, plus i got a no insurance ticket. i called the police department the next morning and filed a complaint, i didnt show up in court and i just got a dmv report today for my work and it didnt show a damn thing.

i had one pull me over about 6 months ago for speeding wich i was doing 60 in a 45 but i was just going with the flow of traffic and just before he walked away to run my info he saw the handle of what he thought was a gun sticking out from under my seat and he and his partner both drew thier guns on me and my 64yo grandmother. it was a sprayer that you put on a spray paint can to save your finger from hurting. boy he felt stupid after that and let me off with a warning and an apology.

earlier this summer me and my buddy pops were on the 98 down in florida touring the coast and i was doing about 50 because i hadnt seen any speed limit signs i ended up driving down the wrong road into a little fishing area and got pulled over by a wildlife officer and she told me it was a 20mph and let me off with a warning even though pops had a fifth of vodka in his lap where she saw it and just ignored it. i was lucky as hell i was down there to party on the beach and had an ounce of grass and 30 percs stuffed into the fuse panel on the ranger and she had every right to search us when she saw him driving but just gave us directions instead.
