I found me a Ford Bronco II eddie bauer edition 4x4 the outside looks brand new no scratches no dents no rust inside is not bad but not perfect BUT it has engine problems this is what he said was wrong with it (I pulled the motor to rebuild it and found two burnt valves and a busted piston.on #5 cyl.the block wasn't hurt so a rebuild would be possible if you wanted to) I have a 1983 ford ranger engine and tranny it just need to be rebuilt will that fit in there if I cant get that other motor fixed or is it even fixable? Im not sure of the year of the Bronco I never asked but my question is how much is this Bronco worth hes asking $800 I dont wanna spend a ton on a new motor but this is one of the best looking bronco's ive seen around here so far.

First:

Please use punctuation. Run-on sentences make everyone just stop reading.

Sounds like an easy fix. Offer $500 as a starting point.

Read the model year off the door tag.

This guy needs to stay in school and really learn something........ Can you take a breath while talking or are you always talking, talking?? Your sentences all run together, Bro!!!

I would pay no more than 300 for it.

The sign in front of U-Pull-It here says they pay $375+ for vehicles so I wouldn't expect much cheaper than that around here.

Keep in mind you would be over $1k if you wanted to buy new thin chinese fenders/doors/hood for your Ranger, solid original steel is increasingly hard to find.

Unless the BII is a 83-85 with a 2.8 it won't be an overly simple switch. The '86-'90's used a fuel injected 2.9. If your Ranger is a four cylinder that will complicate things even more.

You have your labor involved, play that up. You deserve something for your time, apply it towards what he wants for it.
