What's it like to drive a V8 ranger?

Since I understand the cost of tires in my later years, burnouts are for rental cars and loaners from the dealership. It is nice to make pretty V8 sounds with my 5.0. Pushing 33" tires and 3.73 gears with this little brick makes it NOT a sports car. I dream of $2k trick heads and On3 turbos, but that's not going to happen. Overall it's a pleasant ride to and from hunting grounds and I don't get stuck in the mud.

It's fun if you have some power, If not it sounds good though. I always hated v6 engine sounds with the except of a few EU cars. I love V8's with manual transmissions.

This is with a f150 manual.

still awesome...the burnout talk was just for fun, being able to get out of its own way and sound good doing it is plenty.
I'm running 3.73's and 31's and it feels like the gearing is too tall around town, and to low on the highway, around here the sometimes the traffic flow is 80+mph. My 4.0 makes it happen but not happily...

And yes burnouts are not only reserved for rentals and loaners, but mandatory!

If you want to continue living in that police state just buy a Mustang or Hellcat.

Why waste your time dreaming about something that is entirely unrealistic living in a tyrannical society..... or you could just move 🤷‍♂️

Without dreamers and dreams, this nation would be nothing.

If you want a v8 ranger in California..... keep dreaming.... or move to a shinning beacon of liberty where you can actually accomplish said dreams.... but hey what do I know... Im told we should be more like California and live by the dictates of a far away regime....

Nooooooooooo!
Then stop dreaming about Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of happiness and recognize these goals are achievable because this is America the land of opportunity, seize the day and stop being oppressed by real fascists who impose their religious will through the force of over bearing government in the name of safety and green. Which is new speak for socialism and capitulation.

I plan to one day. I'm stuck here for now because of my job and house, but definitely not spending the rest of my life here. It's getting really bad.

To be oppressed you must be noticed. I lay low, and get by....but it is getting pretty bad here...used to be ok 15-20 years ago.

Just don't forget to leave that ideology that ruined that state there lol
Thats not my idealogy and so I agree this state has been ruined by it. If anything I would probably be considered a libertarian.
Friends that have lived in, or are from the midwest tell me I belong there lol, so that's probably where I would start
If I were ever to travel, it would not be for leisure, but find my next home. Maybe even a wife 🤷‍♂️

@cbxer55 had me sold on settling in Oklahoma. I will probably visit there someday and check it out.....feel out the weather.
