Ok, I just checked the dealer brochures from 98 and 99.
I also have 94, 97, 2000.
There is no mention of a 4 door in the 98 brochure. If anybody has a 98 with 4 doors, FORD probably put them in at the end of the model year.
The brochure for 99 says the 4 door is an OPTION for the XLT.
