What year for DSG?

Looking at buying a used Ranger and would like the Dark Shadow Gray color. What model years was this color available??? If I am correct in assuming, I think it began in 2003. I believe the the color code is CX.

My trucks a 2000 in DSG but I updated the front to the 04-05 front end and got bored with the DSG so I painted it today...lol Here's a couple pics...

Yeah its still in the garage, the photot chop is how its going to look. I've actually had a few other black trucks...I like em...lol

The actual color of Dark Shadow Grey started in the 04 model year for Rangers. The 98-00 dark grey is a different shade of grey(lighter), and the color code is different. There were no DSG-like colors in 01-03 on the Ranger...silver frost is the closest, and that's just silver.


Didn't know were were Fx4ing it John! haha. How many colors has that hood been? hahahaha.
