What year explorer CV's to replace PVM hubs?

On my 98 Ranger one of my wheel hub assemblies is on its way out the door so this might be a good opportunity to upgrade to a live axle setup. I've read the tech article and searched the forums but can't find this answer...

From an Explorer, what year CV's will fit my 98 Ranger?

The tech article says 95-01 but then further down it says 95+. I'm aware that in 02 Ford switched the Explorer to the super 30 diff, but are the axles and hubs still the same? I ask because there's a few 02+ explorers on CL but not many 95-01, and currently no 01+ 4x4 rangers

It's '95-'01 for all 4-door Explorers, and '95-'03 for 2-door Explorer Sport models.
I can't say with 100% certainty, but I would think the '02-'10 D30 shafts & hubs are different since the rest of the vehicle is vastly different. A quick search for part numbers for '01 D35 shafts and '02 D30 shafts should confirm interchangeability if the part #s happen to be the same though.
