What would you do if you were to do it all over again?

Does all this include time to do it? I've fantasized about fabricating suspension mods to use the air spring system from a Lincoln or Mercury. I really could do without the feature the truck came with, that is, the direct sensory input to butt and back of every flaw, bump and crack in the road.

Getting 50% or more power from the 2.3L would be nice.

Making the seats comfortable.

New paint, or Monstliiner on the body.

Replace the headliner and visors.

Electric windows and locks.

Right now, I just wish I had resources to turn the CEL off and keep it off.

If I were to do the '90 again I would go 4.0 instead of 2.3L turbo but other than that I've been super happy on how it's worked other than I wish I had done longer radius arms at any point, and the traction bar sooner...

The '97 I'm pretty happy with it, pretty much what I was looking for in a daily driver, would have preferred a '92 as I like the '89-94 dash better than the '95 up but whatever, but I got 4.10's, extended cab and a manual trans for super cheap so hey...

For my ultimate offroader I have big plans for the '00 Explorer but haven't gotten that far yet, probably next year it'll go under the knife...

Define older. Is a '21 old yet? LOL

I kinda like my '01. Had a couple of '88s with 2.9s, both good trucks, but in my old age, I'll take the extended cab 4.0 '01+ with the auto trans over the others. If I find another in good shape for a good price I'll probably buy it. I still kick myself for missing out on an (I think) '04 Level II from trying to beat the guy down on an already good price because it needed timing chains.
