What was your 1st car?

82 fox body hatchback i cry when i see one after i got rid of it:bawling:

my first car was a 2002 Ford Ranger XL 4cyl, 5spd, 2wd. It got totaled out after an accident where a student driver tried to take a left hand turn across two lanes of oncoming traffic after the turn arrow had expired and traffic flowing in either direction. The driving instructor's car was definately totaled after the EMTs pulled out the jaws of life to extract the insturctor. Morale of the story don't buy toyota corolla, they fold like tin cans.

Now i have an 2005 Ford Ranger Edge, 3.0 v6, 5spd, 4x4.

First car was actually a 1969 Lincoln Mark III. 460, C6, 9" rear of course, dual 2.5's. Still have it, although I rarely drive it. 78,xxx original miles with no rebuild.
Other than that, first vehicle was a 92 'Sploder.
..then another Explorer... then an F-150... then my Rangers... haha.

1st vehicle driven = '87 chevy astro.

1st vehicle of my own = '71 VW super beetle IMO best car in the world for snow donuts! Currently have a '74 sitting in my garage that I am slowly working on.

87 plymouth voyager minivan p.o.s for 50 bucks with a bed and tv in the back...my redneck shaggin-waggon:)

First owned car: 1993 Dodge Spirit, died 3 1/2 years later to blown head gasket
First manual tranny car: 1995 Ford Escort with a "performance" exhaust. 1.9L of fury!!! Unsafe, had to junk it.

The most important one.............................

My first truck: 1992 Ford Ranger(still got it plus some!), also a first for V8 powerhouse launches.

1966 Corvair Monza coupe. Paid $85.00 for it in 1973, drove it home only to discover that the trunk was screwed shut.
Removed screws, stripped holes, ended up with hood pins.
Rust holes in the cowl, the front footwells filled with water after a rain.
Air in the brake lines, bleeders frozen solid.
Infamous Corvair pushrod "seals" spewing oil onto hot exhaust manifold made for smoky driving, no need for rear view mirror (couldn't see past the smoke).
Waited 6 weeks for the plates from PennDot, but only drove the car for four weeks after that before giving it to my buddy (he used the engine and trans in his Greenbriar van), but I should have stuck it out and fixed the damned seals, brakes, rust, etc.

94 nissan hardbody, then blew it up... 86 mazda b2000... another 94 nissan ex cab... then blew it up 3 times... then i bought my 10 dollar tempo R.I.P. ... now my baby 91 ranger and my other baby 07 Mazda 6 V6 5spd

69 Ford Custom, 2 Dr, 302. Radio was on the drivers side of the steering wheel??? Vent windows (small triangles) had cranks just like the normal windows. Paid $400 in 78 for it.

1959 Ford 4x4 pick up. lifted with 40" dick cepek mudcountrys. 292 Y-block with manifolds off a 62 ford thunderbird. The only truck I ever had that could never get stuck. I was an Idiot to sell it to get a topper for my 85 ranger in 1986. Stupid kid.

My first and only (so far) vehicle is a 1990 Ranger 2.3 4 on the floor 5 speed, It was given to me at 15 by my parents, my grandpa first bought it used, my parents bought from him, It was Icy one day and my dad was on a gravel road slowed down to go around a 90 degree curve, slid on ice, and wrapped it around a phone pole, suprisingly it was still driveable, after a few years they bought a car or to more and it just sat, then they gave it to me.
