1966 Corvair Monza coupe. Paid $85.00 for it in 1973, drove it home only to discover that the trunk was screwed shut.
Removed screws, stripped holes, ended up with hood pins.
Rust holes in the cowl, the front footwells filled with water after a rain.
Air in the brake lines, bleeders frozen solid.
Infamous Corvair pushrod "seals" spewing oil onto hot exhaust manifold made for smoky driving, no need for rear view mirror (couldn't see past the smoke).
Waited 6 weeks for the plates from PennDot, but only drove the car for four weeks after that before giving it to my buddy (he used the engine and trans in his Greenbriar van), but I should have stuck it out and fixed the damned seals, brakes, rust, etc.
