hello i have a 89 ranger with a 3 inch lift kit and has a front drive shaft with a double cardian joint at the transfer case the tag on the case reads as follows
k3071 1350
102444 e87a what is the transfercase and what did it come out of i think its a 1350 but the rangers i see have a slip in front drive shaft not a bolt on fixed yoke style please help my t case is broke dosnt drive front axle and i just want a different case the guy clames its out of an 94 explorer but i highly doubt it cause i think they have 1354 right .

If it says 1350 on the tag then it is a 1350, they made both slip and nonslip versions.
Is it and electric case? If so have you tried cleaning the connections on the electric shift motor?

its a manual shift what all models had the fixed yoke i dont have a clue as to what year this case is or what its out of or should i ask what rangers had the fixed yoke and are they hard to find it goes into 4x4 but it doesnt turn the front output even in 4 lo

BW1350 fixed-yoke cases were used in mid-'80s STX trucks with the Highrider suspension package. I don't think they are quite a 100% direct swap for a 1354 however, so if you're replacing it with a 1354, you'll want to get the front driveshaft with it as well.

Have you checked the linkage adjustment on yours? The shift gate probably just needs adjusted (two bolts on the left side of the trans, one big, one small).

The left one is a 13-50 STX. The right one is a 13-54.

If you do need a 13-50 STX manual case, and its not just a shift gate adjustment, I've got 2 of them. $150 each.
