i need to remove my cam bearings from my 03 ranger 3.0 motor, any body know what tool i need to rent and maybe a trick on how to get them out?

thats not really a tool you can rent, well you may be able to find a tool to remove them. but prob not install. just take it to a local machine shop and they'll prob charge like 20-40 to take them out. prob less to take them out, thats easy. the putting them in cost me 40

cam bearings

to a shop? no fricking way they suck, i would rather do it myself. am sure theres a tool out there somewhere

there is a tool but i highly doubt you can find somewhere that rents them. you might know some one who has one, or youll have to buy one and will probably cost more than what the shop charges. but if the shop is any good they should know what the F-they are doing.
