i want to keep my 99 with the 5.0 a dd

so ive got money to start a project i just dont know what to do?
i was thinkin a first gen ranger slammed with 600 horse motor(dad said he would just give me one since he has eight for all of our dirt track cars)
or
i was thinkin a really pretty 1st gen lifted a little bit with the same motor for a decent wheeler?(want it to look somewhat like the skyjacker ad's ranger)
also.....
i could buy a 79 bronco for 2000 and is in very good condition NO RUST with a 351w d44 up front ford 9 in the back doesnt have a lift but i can make all the brackets at work and i have the money to buy shocks my budget is right around 5-6 grand that ive got saved for strictly a project

just want your info on what you guys think would be a good project?

if you're gonna have all those horses, do a street truck. i don't see the point of all that in a trail rig. the trail rig you just gear it right with a 2.9 or 4.0..

yea thats what i was thinkin but for a trail rig i could mild the motor down quite a bit i am leaning way to the street truck idea though

I know this is TRS, not FSBF, but I'd go with the Bronc. I'd really really love a 79 through 84 Bronco. I love both bodies.

yea im thinkin maybe buy the bronco for 2 grand and find a 1st gen ranger (sleeper) put the motor in the ranger and then start tinkerin with the bronco? called a the bronco went and looked at her and she is in damn nice condition ill upload pics soon if i can figure out how to lol?

I vote ranger and bronco, put the 351 in the ranger and slam it, put the 800hp engine in the bronco, upgrade to 60's and put it on 40's

Slammed truck, big engine.

I don't like fsb's that much... I like the smaller top optional (and preferable windshield up optional) trucks.

Which is why I own a scout.

Eb was too much damn money.

Or, you could build a nice mud drag truck outta first gen ranger.

Or do all of em.

since a 1st gen ranger would be really cheap right now since i kinda want it a sleeper im going to try and find one of those and im also thinking im gunna buy the bronco as well and leave it stock for awhile then start playing with that. The first gen ranger would be the easiest looking at what i all have and basically is just putting the big motor in it. The 351 in the bronco would be plenty of power and im also thinking later on about lifting the bronco and putting 35's on it........buyin the bronco after school

bought another vehicle to add to the list 79 bronco is now mine, now to find a 1st gen ranger...
