I recently acquired a 88 r/c s/b blown-up 2.3, 5spd, 2wd.
I already have a wheeler and a DD, and don't know where to go with it...

I have everything to do a 93 2.3 swap, a/c swap, and 2nd gen dash swap. That'll get it running.

It has 4" drop leaves and stock front suspension. But I'm thinking it needs to be 4x4, possibly might build the old lady a wheeler. Also thinking about selling it, but thats no fun.

If I do build it, it won't be nothing crazy, after all it will remain a 2.3...

Thinkin D30, my stock 28spl 8.8, 1350 t-case, and a tailshaft from a cheap blown up 4x4 M5OD. 6" lift on 33"s. Welded rear, Aussie locker front. And the lowest cheapest gears I can find.

Bad pic but its all I got of the "White Lightnin"

i agree make it a wheeler for the old lady, id just fix the motor and tranny maybe some oversized tires and call it good i dont think a lift is really very necessary. oh and maybe put a 4.10 in there to make it nice and quick.

It would at least have to have a chance following my truck....
