I was walking through my local scrap yard looking for some heavy square tubing to make a bolt on hitch receiver when I stumbled upon approximately 50' of 2"ish by .125 thick square tubing ranging in section between 2' and 8'. Most of it appeared to be straight, non bent sections.

Now I'm asking, what would you do with an abundance of square tubing at your disposal?

bumpers and sliders

work bench

boat trailer (for a little jon boat)

A boat trailer! wonderful idea. My 14' john looks funny hanging out the bed:icon_thumby:

Robot

Sliders would be pretty good

Sliders would be alright if my truck was more of an offroad vehicle.

Slider/step bar?

Make a step bar that kind of looks like a slider. I'm thinking about doing something similar to mine.

A headache rack or lumber rack if you have use for one.

All good ideas. I thought about a headache rack.

And I found a piece of 2x6 3/16 rectangle tubing about 5' long which is gonna be a start on a bumper :)

um,send it my way? lol I need it for a bodydrop.

oh do like my rear bumper... thats what it is... 2x6. Weld a receiver tube in it and voila! no need for an aftermarket receiver! Mount it to the frame using 3" angle and drill some holes. I'll edit this later, when beer is not in my system haha

the only thing I didnt like about your rear bumper was it looked similiar to a rollpan bumper. I like being able to step up onto mine since Im vertically challenged.

Build a catapult. Or you could use them for sliders and bumpers for off-roading.
