What size tires for 15x10 rims??

Hey guys I recently was looking to lift my 04 2wd 3inches and put 33 tires on it but I have decided to stick with the stock height. I'm kinda at a halt right now because I don't know what size tires to get for the 15s. I don't want the tire to be too big where it interferes with the wheel well or any other part of the truck, but yet I don't want them too small. What's a happy -medium for this dilemma? Would 29s be too big? Suggestions, pics, comments anything will help thank you.

If you are staying stock height...go with 15x8s with 3-4" BS. Im not sure if 31s will clear on a 2wd or not. If its an Edge (torsion bar suspension) I know they will. Otherwise you will be looking at 235/75-15s (29-30")

yeah, for a tire that small you would have to go back to a 15x8, i ran a 31x10.5 on a 10 inch wide rim, and was worried about the bead constantly, and it also looked funny.

I'm running 235/75R15's All Terrains, which are about 29" or so. With my locking diff I can get that little 2wd truck a surprising number of places. Money is better spent on traction aids than lifts and big tires IMOHO (which tires do still help), but smaller tires keeps the truck a little more useable too.

31's might technically fit, but it gets really tight in there and can sometimes look kinda weird without a lift.
