Ive got a 2.3 turbo Ranger with 35lb injectors, im wondering if these are to big or a good size??? because the truck seems to burn rich, the turbo boost is off right now because my gauge dosent work, could that effect that?

And would a vacum leak cause my gauge not to work??? thanks guys

yes a vacuum leak would cause the engine to run rich under boost, but lean under vacuum. if your turbo is healthy the waste gate can make up for rich condition to a point, but if the leak is bad enough you would have a VERY rough idle. the gauge has nothing to do with the control of the turbo, its just like a oil pressure gauge, it just reads pressure. the stock ecu can control larger injectors up to around 25% larger then stock, so if your sensors(o2,map) are working correctly the larger injectors shouldn't cause too much of a problem. i would start by installing an air-fuel ratio meter, check for vacuum leaks, and maybe a bad waste gate valve or actuator.
