What should i swap too?

hello im new to the board what i have is a 99 ranger and it was made in jan of 99. ford must have decided that the engine was crap in the begining of the year so they changed it in july. the cam shaft syncro went at 120,000 miles. i replaced it and got maby 30 miles out of it and it seazed. so, where i stand is i dont want to replace it with the same crap again it is the 3.0 flex, 4x4 extended cab xlt. what bigger better engin will match with my auto trans that i had rebuilt 6 thousand miles ago?

there are no bigger better motors for your transmission. If that's your only requirement, you're stuck with a 3.0

ok so what is the easy way to swap with something that will fit including motor and trans?
