Yeah I looked it over but they dont give you much info on the 98+ trucks as far as the Length you need for lift and such

for the skyjacker springs - I know that KLC on R-F ran them on his 08 with his superlift and loved em. i have to say if i ever pick a superlift up the blocks are coming off the rear and im going with the skyjacker springs for mine.

Yeah i have read good things about the Skyjacker springs, some say they are bouncy. I just wish there was more in fo out there on the shock sizes and what works best with the 4 in superlift.

I think the rear shock sizes will be the same for all rangers. Its the front that might be different for 98+ trucks.

could ya deal with the stock Superlift replacement shocks for it?

If not maybe take the expanded/collapsed dimensions and grab another brand shock for the duty.

Expanded/Collapsed

Front:
20.910/14.910

Rear:
30.070/17.700

Yeah that was the route I was thinking about because I hear the Superlifts are crap. Was just hopeing to get some input from the guys that are running the lift so I could get a set up that works well. I found tons of info about the coilover swap but not much about shocks. I would love the coilover set up but its no longer made so. Wish i could just get good shock info. thanks for the input.

I have the SJ replacement leaf pack. They are a little stiffer than stock but they ride pretty good if you substitute the overload leaf with your "flat" stock overload leaf.

I'd run a set of Bilstein 5125 (thats what I am running and they ride very nice, even when the truck is empty. let about 12 psi out and you can haul ass down bumpy washboard roads with a drink in one hand).

I've found the best prices for the 5125's over at:

They have collapsed and extended lengths.

Only problem you might run into is the mounting style on your a-arm front suspension. You might have to buy an adapter of some sorts to change it from a stud to an eyelet mount.
