What seats can I put in my 98 rander single cab?

I would like to put some new seats in my ranger as mine are very uncomfortable. I've heard on googling that you can put some in from a explorer and also a mustang? Someone even put some in from a fire bird?

Anyways...seems the 98+ single cabs have a strange bolt pattern and it's hard to find seats that will be a straight swap without a lot of modding?

What seats can you tell me will fit even if with slight modding....into my 98 single cab ranger?

Info in the tech section under "what seats fit". Most buckets will fit if you fab up your mounts to the bottom of them. Just get out the tape measure find max dimensions that'll fit in the space then find a set you love. Good luck!

I just did this this afternoon , with my 97 regular cab ranger and explorer seats .
the seat brackets will NOT bolt directly to the floor , you need to use your OLD mounts . The Seats however do come off the frame and the bolt locations DO line up .
I had to remove the electric from my seats and use the manual adjustments .
The seat has a high back , and hits the rear window , I am 5'8" and am sitting too upright for my liking , right now .
The bolts on the floor are 10mm and the frame to seat bolts are also 10mm .
I cant tell you anything about other seats as this was my first experience with interior modding .
Good Luck finding what your looking for , the Pick and Pull didnt have anything that old in the junk yard so this was my only choice to use the explorer seats and console.
Its loosening 4 extra bolts per seat , and tightening 4 extra bolts per seat , very easy to do
