What Ranger cabs are interchangable?

I have an 89 Ranger reg cab that I need to replace. Will an 87 or any other year fit. 89 is the first year of the different body style I am wondering if the radiator saddle is the same or not? Please give me any advise you have.

I want to say 86-88 cabs are the same, and aside from different body panels and dash panels, they are the same as 89-92 cabs. You'll have to stick to a regular cab, however, unless you wish to make modifications to the frame and bed to make an extended cab work.

Radiators from Rangers, Bronco IIs and Explorers of those years are the same... I have a 92 Ranger 4.0L radiator in my 89 Bronco II and a 91 Explorer 4.0L radiator in my 88 Bronco II.

the earlier 1st gen radiators for the 2.3 and 2.8 sit in the support different.

The cabs are basically the same, 83-92, but the 89-92 firewall is different.
