I have been wondering what railroad served the Twin Cities assembly plant before Ford closed it? The window sticker for my Ranger says it was shipped by rail and been wondering this for awhile since I bought it new and obviously had to be unloaded to be shipped by truck to get to the dealership where I bought it.

After a little google investigation im going to guess it was union pacific. Although there were many railroads that served that area. But they seemed to be the biggest one.

Burlington Northern? (BNSF) Canadian Pacific? Soo line? there's a few possibilities. it may have been a small local that went from the plant to a main line.

Canadian Pacific is the one that went right to the plant. City thinking about making it a bike path now.
