mazda b4000 1994 5 speed 4x4. was told throw out. have to start it in gear then it just takes off. in higher gears you can push in the clutch but only the last inch or so is slightly firm and you can get ot to rev up while driving. cant shift with the clutch you have to shift without it. if you come to a dead stop itll die.

Yeah, throw-out bearing sounds like a good suspect. Have you checked the fluid level in the master cylinder? I drove a f150 for quite awhile by filling the master every couple days. It would self bleed by pumping the clutch a few times and then be good for several days. If I kept on top of it I didn't have any problems. This truck was my first with a fluid clutch release and it took me a little to figure out that the black rubber suctioned to the inside of the master was actually not a part of the reservoir.

not the throw out bearing, they just get grumbly, if it seizes the slave cylinder would be fried...

Sounds like pilot bearing or the clutch is out of fluid (I suspect the clutch is out of fluid), as said above remove the black rubber diaphragm then fill the reservoir, after that go in the cab and push the pedal to the floor then slip your foot off the pedal a few times until normal pedal feel is regained, if it doesn't then there is air in the slave cylinder which "might" come out by bleeding at the bleeder valve on the side of the transmission.

i havent checked the fluid or anything. i assumed it was out of fluid once i drove it. right now its at the shkp. im hoping its only outta fluid lol

im hoping its only outta fluid lol

And how does a closed system like the brakes, or the cooling system, or the clutch get out of fluid?

if it's never been checked and the clutch is worn/almost toast then it's just in the slave cylinder, other than that probably a bad slave or master...
