what mazda has 4:10 in the diff??

ok so i'm looking to get a ranger or mazda b4000 because my jeep tj dosen't have a box and i need one but i would like the lowest gears as i can get in this truck so i know the rangers with level 2 and 4x4 offroad have 4:10 gears but what about the mazda's? what the package has the lower gears?

All RBV's had optional 4.10's since the '98 model year and possibly earlier than that, I don't know. I don't know what Maz trim package came with them, but the only Ranger trim package that they are standard on are the top of the line Fx4 LII. All others are optional. My truck is not a Fx4LII or the Fx4 Off Road/4x4 Off Road model, yet it's just a plain jane XLT 4x4 and came iwth 4.10's. I know the 4cyl auto trucks have 4.10's standard though.

Are you trying to see if you've got 4.10's....or....?

i know that in the late 80's, only trucks with automatics were offered with 4.10's. your best bet is to check door tags or axle tags before you buy anything because almost nothing is guaranteed when it comes to gear ratios.

My 2004 b3000 dual sport has 4:10's as far as I know all dual sports have 4:10's in them.

i found out how to read the diff tags so every one i look at i will just read the tag when i'm looking at trucks
