i have a 2000 for ranger and i want to order some diff covers but i`m not to sure what kind of axles i have if you guys could help me out that would be great

The government sticker in your driver's side door jam will have an axle code. Post up your axle code. It'll give you insite as to what axle, what gears, and if its open or trac-loc equipped.

^^Yup. Click here to decode that number: http://www.therangerstation.com/tech_library/Axles.html

OR...get under the truck and look at the axle tag on the diff cover. Use the same link to decode.

OR....look under the truck. If the cover is round with flat spots on the top and bottom, you've got a 7.5". If it's round with round notches on the bottom on the corners, it's an 8.8".
