What is this?

Found this attached to a stripped F59 chassis and we can not figure out what it’s for. Looks like a lot of thought an engineering went into this little part/tool.

Not a Ford part number, not the right format, could be makers number or casting number depending on what its made of

Obviously clips onto a pipe/hose
Has a rubber hose that would slide onto a small port to seal it and a wire tie to hold it in place

F59 was sold as bare bones chassis and drive train, so could have been used to seal off ports not used until body was installed


But also to prevent pregnancy

Thanks man. Yeah I work with 59s everyday. We just couldn’t figure out what that part was for. The on site Ford mechanic didn’t know either. Come to think of it… the chassis we found that on ran like crap…
