What is this?


Over on the Ranger 5g site there is an ex-Ford VP who has lots of stories. One about the jack is that they were designed for 25 lifetime uses, so you should keep that in mind. I never use mine, unless it's an actual emergency, I have a nice floor jack and a hi-lift if I need it.

I only use them in the junkyard because they don't let you bring jacks in.

Example, two tire/wheels with a scissor jack = a transmission jack:



I found the mintiest perfect one I could to have behind the seat to complete the tire change kit though. Not even sure it would reach high enough to actually jack the truck up now. I have a regular hydraulic bottle neck jack I take with on trips.

 
I cleaned half the garage tonight and found four of these handles. Plus both my RBVs have them installed in the proper place, so I have like six.
