Like the title says. . . What is this and how much should I worry about returning it to its home? Fell from under the truck in the neighborhood of the starter, maybe starter solenoid or relay cover?

It clips onto the posts of the starter solenoid. It's not super critical, it mostly keeps crap away from the threads. If I remember I put them on. If I forget I throw them away.

If it fell off it is probably broken.

Thanks, kinda what I figured.

Also keeps the 'Ford anti-seize' from reaching it's intended target. How else would you expect to remove a corroded copper nut off a starter/expect copper nut to come of of said corroded copper stud?

Ford since birth...but oil leaks...ugh...

Hahaha.
