What is this leaking little door on my exhaust manifold?

I have a 99 3.0 and there's an exhaust leak on my driver's side exhaust manifold. It's coming from a little ovoid-shaped door that covers a hole or port of some kind with one 13mm bolt holding it on, just above the flange for the y pipe. I can't find any info on what this is for and I can't find a mention of it on any parts diagram. The part is visible on pics of new manifolds but is not mentioned. I need the gasket for it and I'm curious about it's purpose.
Thanks, Dave

I have a '01 3.0 edge. I don't know if I have e that on mine. I'll have to take a look.

EGR port maybe. I'm not too familiar with the details of the RWD 3.0.
