Not sure where this hose is supposed to connect to, it looks like a vacuum line, going to this thing in the 2nd picture. Any ideas? For a 94 Ranger 4cyl.

That hose is for the charcoal canister. Fallow it and it will go to the canister mounted by the battery. The other connection is under the intake manifold about where the number 3 spark plug is. Look through that hole in between the intake and you should see a little nipple that it attaches to. It's hard to get to and mine used to come off sometimes. I finally got a hose clamp on it after some major cussing one night.

Thanks, I couldn't see it through the manifold, I had to stick my head near the brake booster. I found the hose, it looks a little cracked too.

What I did was get a rubber hose about 3 inches long that fit over the nipple and the hose so it flexes a bit. Also put hose clamps on it.
