I use my fiances' moms boyfriends garage to fix things all the time, well went over last night to put a new belt on the focus and he ask me if I left a brake tool in the garage last time I was over fixing the brakes on our focus and her sisters caravan. In which I replied no, cause i'm very anal about my tools and have aplace for them in my box and I would know if I left one behind before I left. Any how he buys random tool boxes at auctions all the time takes what he wants then asked me if I want anything so I suppose that is were this came from but I went out and looked anyways and found this. Not sure what it is he says its a brake tool never seen one like it never used one don't know how if I had. He's in he 60's and has seen a little bit more car stuff than I have so he may know what he's talkig about so I took to hopfully know one day what it is... Any clues???

It's a cone shaped springy thing.

Cool, well now I have one slowly gettin some cool specailty tools one at a time. Just got one of those body molding measuring things last month
Looks like a ruler with several hundred needles going threw it. you press it against what ever you molding to get a shape so you can redo that shape again.

kinda looks like those spring door stops to keep door knobs from hitting the wall.
