My 2002 ford ranger 4x4 is getting poor fuel mialge and i am going to change my plugs and wires. The right side is easy ( facing the truck from the front) but the left side is looking extremely hard. What adapters do you use for the ratchet? Also what spark plugs are the best for my ranger? This may sound like a dumb question but i am truely stupted.... and my true beast is a 2008 f-250 diesel.... spartan tuned! :thefinger:

The factory plug is the best plug for your engine. Motorcraft. Unless it is missing and sputtering the plugs aren't the problem. As long as they will fire reliably they are NOT causing poor milage.
Some guys pull the tire and the pliable innerskirt to change that side. It is known in vehicle circles as the right side.
Others find just the right length of extension and they are able to install plugs on that side also.

ya its a pain in teh butt and required me to lie on my engine to get the back one on that side but i just used a spark plug socket and regular ratchet. and as for which plugs, from what ive heard most guys will use autolite double platinum or any autolite period

its not hard at all if you go through the wheel well
