I've pretty much got the same truck as this: XL Regular cab, white.

Now, mine is entirely stock at the moment but I'd like it to look just like this one. What I would like to know is if this one has some lift and what kind/size tires are those?

Im thinking they're 31x10.5 which should fit on a stock ranger (94+)

they look like 265-70-17 ,on 17-9 wheels.maybe 2-3 inchs of lift. look on ebay for a 2-3 inch .

There is a white trim peice on the bottom of the door.

Oh, a little bit more digging and I found the user's signature which states:

07 reg cab XL 4x2
2.3 auto
fabtech 3" lift
265/75/16 BFG MTs
16x8 Pro Comps

Oh, with that said: what's a reasonable estimate for the cost of doing this, assuming I can't do the lift myself?

A lift isn't really that hard to do, I believe you could do it, maybe have a buddy help you out, for safety sake and all

can you do a brake job on the front wiht out problems?....if so I bet you could do the spindle lift your self in the driveway.

heck I bet if you looked aroudn you could find a step by step write up on how to do it...really not that hard at all.

http://www.haroh.com/explorer/spindle.html found this with just a quick yahoo search....

will give you the general ideal, your truck will have coil springs instead of T-bars, but its still the same concept. really its pretty easy to do......

What's modified on the truck? You can only tell a little by the picture. Maybe he has a 302 under the hood, an NP435 tranny into a 203/205 doubler, and ARBs at each end.

My guess though is that the truck is bone stock, except for some cheap 1-2" lift, and 31s. And it has never seen a trail that my Mustang Cobra couldn't handle.

Looks nice though.

ill second that minus the "looks nice" part. i dont have a mustange but im sure the Audi i used to have was more capable.

I'm not saying my Cobra is more capable offroad, just that he doesn't take it on any difficult trails.
