My son crashed his 94 4.0L 4x4 5 speed and it is destroyed now. I have someone wanting to buy the rear end (entire axles) and it has just had all new gears put in it about 6000 miles ago. Shop may have ripped us off but they charged 448.00 for parts and labor and put in new spider and ring gears. What should I ask for it now? Also, would an auto be geared a lot different than this 5 sp?

Thanks
Speedy

My 7.5 rear end for my truck from the junkyard was $250 with core.

You can pull them yourself for around $150 usually.

The one we went to did. They were the only ones with it too so really had no choice. We didnt know about the 8.8 swap at the time and that it could be done.

Another JY we go to everything is 50 to 100 bucks for just about everything till you get to engines and what not. Of course lights and what not arent that expensive.
