Hello,
This is my first post in this forum, with hopes of plenty to come.
I was wondering if there were tech articles available for everything you need to know when going from a 2.3L to 302 V8.
I have an 88 Ranger, single cab, 2.3L.
I thought I read the motor needs to be out of an explorer or the intake won't fit? Is this true?
I know I'll likely need a new trans (which one I don't know), driveshaft, radiator, motor mounts, headers, new exhaust, etc.
About how much will I spend if I can find a 302 motor ready for $400
