What head will fit

i have a 2002 ford ranger edge 2wd automatic and the passenger side head is cracked will any 3.0l head fit it i was told that i could put 4.0l heads on it can any one tell me what onse will fit any out of a tarus windstar ect thanks for your time. cheers

4.0 heads will not work. Any OHV (vulcan) 3.0 head will work, but I'd get one from the same year because they did change the castings up a bit between different years. If your truck is flex fuel, then you'll need to find a flex fuel head as they have a different shaped combustion chamber.
