So what do I need to look for? Just relized I had a 4.10 back axle in my parts truck..HAPPY HAPPY! But now I need the front to match. Been looking on carpart and aint been able to locate anything.

I looked those years up on car part last night and got 3 results. All 1000+ miles from myself.

1993-1997 3.0L 4x4 Ranger/Mazda is your best shot. Look at the 3 liters and watch out for Dana 28s in a smooth case. You want the ribbed case.

Those will be the hybrid D28/35 axles.

Swynx is correct (add to that the last half of '90 models too). A few 2.9L automatic trucks of those same years also got 4.10 D35s.

Did they put 4.10 in a lot more rear wheel drive trucks? I'm assuming a fair share of 2wd 2.3 had them. I've found plenty of 4.10 8.8 but not very many d35.

I searches for a 4.10 Dana 35 3rs member for 2 years before I settled on 3.73s. More than likely you will have to just swap gears to 4.10.

I should ad look for extended cab 3.0 4x4s. Every 1993-1997 Extended cab 3.0 4x4 that has gone through me always had the Dana 35 with mostly 3.73s but a few did have 4.10s.

Have not seen any 4.0 4x4s with anything lower than 3.73s and never seen a 4cyl with anything but the dana 28 and dana 28 hybrid configuration.

Good luck though.

I think some 2WDs before '93 got 4.10s, but they will all be 7.5" axles.

4.10 D35s no doubt are rare.
When it comes to finding rare parts, I've had decent luck with www.car-part.com. I found my 2.9L 4WD-version M5OD through the site (only came in select few 1990 trucks, mostly Supercabs from what I've seen).

Put in the search for a '91 or '92 4x4 Ranger and select 4.10 front axle assembly. Should come back with all D35s if there's any near you.

Edit,
Nevermind, OP said he already did that.
I just did it myself and it came back with four in the whole USA & Canada. Unless you want to have one shipped, maybe try the "Request a quote from hundreds of recyclers" link? See if that yields anything?

IMO, I think the best way to a 4.10 D35 is to do like Downey said and just regear one (and make real sure 4.10 is really what you want, because 31s is about the biggest tire 4.10 is real great for. Any bigger tire and you might as well go for 4.56 or deeper if you're going to regear an axle)

Ya that's how I found the 3 that I found. Closest one to me is like 1000 miles away haha
