What Gears dose a 1999 3.0L 4x4 have??

Look on your door sticker,

If you don't mean your truck specifically, I think stock trucks had 3.73's? Maybe even 3.55's?

There is an article in the tech section that tells how to "de-code" your door sticker, I'm trying to find it now..

Dam i used that Axle code page n the Tech section and i think i have 4.10's with a 8.8 Axle
R7 is the code

the code is usually two numbers, but R7 could be the code.

the axle tag is easier to use because it has the ratio right there on it.

The door code is easier because you don't have to crawl under your truck! Yeah... R7 would be the 4.10 and 8.8, thats what I have lol.

Two numbers means open rear. With a letter in front, it's a L/S.

damn i looked at mine at under axle it said 96. Then i looked at the tag on the rear and sure enough 3.73. I was convinced it was 4.10's but i was wrong.
