What engine oil y'all running now?

Man, the guy you speak of going through vehicles and not maintaining them...how does one just never learn? Is there a condition that's opposite of OCD? If there is one, I'd say he has it. That's just crazy.

that is hard to say. i dont know whe is dumber. myself or charlie.

all he bought was tires and brakes and a transmission.

didnt waste any time or money on changing oil and filters and shopping...time crawling around working making and cleaning up messes....just bought oil at the gas station and dumped it in...when the 5.3 got real hungry the last few years before it started smoking he was buying st at walmart by the case...most of the consumption and smoke was because it was loading up due to the way the valve cover/pcv system works.

i keep the miles off of my junk with company shop/fleet vehicles the last 10 years so i am lucky there.

my ranger has a diesel so that still gets rotella....but the 4.0s get the restore and protect now.
