It's a nice looking truck. I'm not sure it's $16,500 nice.

It probably has an SRS light on for the missing air bag due to the steering wheel change. I'm not sure that would pass state inspection here without the airbag.

iirc, airbags started w/ the 1995 interior redesign

That is a lot of work put into a vehicle...just to sell it seems wrong and that is a big sack of ludder for a 94 with a presumably stock rebuild on 245k.

as mentioned, it is a really nice truck, but not 16k nice. my guess this is a "its me or that truck that you love more than anything" demand from the wife or girlfriend/ wife. so he puts it up for sale, and after a few weeks/ months... "see i tried to sell it but no one is interested>"

Is pinion angle not a thing on these rear ends/drivelines? That one looks like it's pointed up at a 45 degree angle. 🤔

the problem with buying something that someone else has customized or modified, especially this much, is that the seller is trying to recoup their build price while at the same time, sell something to someone who may have different tastes. So what may be a selling point to the seller, could be a negative for the buyer. The buyer may want to change some things that the seller/builder thought was perfect, to fit their needs/taste.
1st thing I'd do is get rid of those balloon street tires, get some modern wheels and tires on it, and get rid of at least 4" of that rediculous lift kit.

but thats just my Too scents

Even if the pinion angle is within acceptable tolerances, the fill hole is elevated. The rear end is probably over-filled with oil which is going to cause the axle seals to blow.

Also, how is the pinion bearing lubricated? Is it going to get enough splash up there?

The splash should be fine since the ring gear slings the gear oil at the pinion. I'd be more worried about the axle being over filled.

You folks do know it's for sale on the TRS classifieds...

I like it... too many miles for that kind of money for me though.
