Have you been here for 15 or 20 years or more?

It was ROC (Ranger Offroad Club) before that, correct?
The history is somewhere here on the site. You might want to brush up on it in case a TRS trivia tiebreaker quiz happens again.

Not sure how that plays into it, here is the official history of TRS though:

I didn't come along until 2002.

Before the Great Schism
Yeah I've heard Jim talk about it. I can't beleive it took me so long to discover the forum. I probably used the site first around 2005 when my speedometer went out on my 98. Google (probably Yahoo back then) sent me to a tech section on the mag sensor in the rear. Can't really remember. Then again about 2012 when doing timing chains on my 05. This 2020 is my 7th Ranger or B series I've owned over the years. I will say that I was the last person in my family with a computer and internet access haha. I didn't have any social media till I got this truck. But when I got it most my old wheeling buddies have moved away or quit. So I only got it to find new offroad friends haha. This site was the first place I thought of when I got the new Ranger. When researching them. I came across Jim's trip on the TAT. That's when I found the forum. I've met some awesome people here. Can't wait to spend more adventures and life occurrences with you all in the future.

The Ranger Station was created in 1999 and began using YaBB forums in 2001, but as the forums got larger, they also got slower. Over the years, The Ranger Station has used phpBB, Invision Power Board (IPB), and vBulletin forums. The initial use of vBulletin was done using software owned by the hosting company. In 2007, The Ranger Station switched to a new server, and purchased its own vBulletin software. The old hosting company wouldn’t let The Ranger Station have the forum database, so it had to start over with an empty forum. This meant that all of the forum posts and members prior to 08/2007 were lost.

I'll have to check the date but several years ago I switched from Vbulletin to Xenforo forum software.

Hard to believe the 2007 debacle was almost 20 years ago...
