what do you think of these lights?

so i'm wondering what you guys think about these 2 sets of tail lights... i kinda wanna keep it looking stock, but thinking about it recently, black tail lights might match my black headlights... and i really like these lame altezzas... what do you guys think of them all?

or possibly the same as above, but in a red/smoke lens

i like the second set with the red/smoke lens. i was looking at getting them for awhile, but they cost too much. i wish the reverse light(s) were LED too.

i know eh? i don't understand why they are mostly incandescent reverse lights... that's one thing i like about the altezzas... i am starting to lean towards the altezzas... the only thing is, i need to find a 3rd brake light that will match and not look dumb...


interesting thing i noticed, take a look at the vehicles with stock LED tails... every vehicle that i've seen except 1, and i can't remember what it is right now, have LED tail, and brake lights, but incandescent turns... and the one that i did see with led turn, had red intergrated turns, like the 2 bulb setup...

u may already know but u can always change out the incandescent bulbs for leds from ebay. me and a buddy have had pretty good luck with those insanely cheap bulbs from there. never had any of them burn out and he's been runnin them in his camaro since he got it 5 years ago. we're only talkin like a couple of bucks for bulbs so i'd go with the ones on the bottom and put led reverse lights in

no i know the ones you're talking about, i've got 52 LED bulbs front and read on my bike, i don't remember what i've got in the brake light though... i think it's the cheap ones from canadian tire (cheap being like 10$ a pop for like 7 LED's or something like that)

I would be skeptical about the effectiveness of those LED reverse lights. Reverse lights suck as it is, and only the recent high output LED technology has been able to compete with the output of incadecent bulbs. I would look for feedback, or plan on wiring up a set of auxilery reverse lights to compensate.

i hear ya buddy, though, 2 points, 1, i don't really care TOO much about the light output, as there's not much there to begin with, and 2, i do plan on eventually getting some lights back there... no super plans yet or even a rough idea of what or where i'm going to put them...

i was thinking that, but there's no red on the front, so no red on the back might be fun...

essentially, i'm stuck between 2 schools of thought... first, keeping it looking stickish, so when you look at it, you can't tell if it was factory or not (red with a slight smoke would give that for sure) OR making everything blend, and putting tails on, that match what the front look like, would be doing that!

even though i have an 06, i want the bottom ones for mine...stock to the untrained eye but a ranger fan will spot the difference.

they are the 2 bulb lights, even though they look like 3 bulb... they are used, and need some electrical work, but that shouldn't be too difficult...

Dunno if they actually changed the 3rd brake light on the rangers but Recon makes nice stuff

i like them the best or the 2nd ones down in the first post. i would get some torx screws with the new lights just in case someone else wants them more then u lol
