i found this jeep near me on craigslist.. you think it would be a good deal i figure use the axels lift and steering sell what jeep parts i can recycle the rest at the scrap yard i would probably only be in it $500-800 after i sell and scrap
I'm looking to sell for $1500my 92 Jeep XJ.
Motor has a lifter noes..(still drive it just do not know for how long) would make a good parts rig lots of new parts... and the bumpers and slider are sold...
This is what it has a on it Rustys 8inch long arm with 2" spaces in the front and 2" lift shackles, I just had the rearend rebuilt by Rearend Specialties less then 800 miles on a full currie high pin. 9inch with big 1.5" 35 spline chromoly axles and a Detroit locker 4.88 gears with Dis brakes, front got a Dana 30 with a Detroit tro-trcsitten need gears. (can still drive it) plus I just install a Rustys high steer (built from 1.5 x .250 DOM tubing with Hem ends), has less then 800 miles on it, XJ is sitting on 37" MTRs 60 to70% lift with bead locks ( can air this bad boys down to 6 psi if you want ), and a new rear dive shaft made by south Bay Driveline. Its also got a new starter, water pump, steering gear box, bushing new hubs, new battery. motor as Rustys intake and space, and it got 170,000 miles on it. its a auto, It will go 65 to 85 down the freeway! This is not a clean rig, if your into looks this isn't the Jeep for you, but it a nice rock crawler trail rig that you take you anywhere. You can drive it on the street, its my DD. clean title and pink in hand.
Asking $1500 there are over $3000 in new part on this rig in the last 6 mouths. This is a great start to a bad ass rig, you can not build this for what I'm selling this for. selling case I'm getting out of wheeling.
Rear end. ($1100)
Rear drive shaft. ($500)
High steer. ($550)
New hubs ($135)
New battery ($100)
New starter ($135)
New water pump & stat ($140)
New bushing in the upper and lower arms ( $320)
New motor mount ($35)
New steering gear box ($135)
