I've really been debating on whether or not to get a project vehicle when I receive my income tax check I have SHOULD have about $1000 to spend (although I SHOULD pay my credit card debt off but at this point I feel like I'd rather have something to show for spending money than paying debt) and by looking @ craigslist I've seen a few I really like.. F150 4x4 for $800.. have to keep in mind I do live in Cali so naturally used rigs are probably more expensive.. I really love the 70s model f100's and even 80s, early 90s but here is what I've found.. Obviously this SHOULD sell before I get my return but something in this condition is what I expect to receive for $800-1000.. What do you all think ? The seller says it comes with a 351w in it FYI.. Here is what the seller says in the desc..

1984 ford f-150 XLT 4x4 four wheel drive 4wd pickup truck, fully loaded........factory 5.8 H.O. (351 Windsor) motor option, long bed, extended cab, power windows, power door locks, power steering power brakes, cruise controll, Kenwood stereo, tilt wheel, A/C, duel fuel tanks, automatic tranny, superflow muffler, bed liner, tow package, great for towing a boat, runs but could use tune up(carb kit and spark plug wires) needs battery but will start with my boat battery so you can test it, odometer reeds 90,000, is on non-op and the tires are dry rubber, this truck is for someone who is handy and wants a good american 4x4 and dont mind doing a few things

try to stay away from dual tanks, cause their fuel switch valve is notorious for going bad, making your engine get no fuel and die, unless it was just replaced or you'll replace it
