i have a 2000 ranger with with ifs up front i want to straight axle it and id like to run 44"s i was wondering the the best axel choices are and what all parts do i need id like to build it with as many good junk yard parts as possaible

You will need a ford high pinion dana 60 front axle (78-97 F350 some f250s had them ) and either a sterling 10.25 (84-97 F350 heavy GVW f250s) or gm 14 bolt rear. (heavy GVW 3/4 and all 1tons from 73-up) Also for 44s you will want to up grade to a larger set of driveshafts. Also you will want to look into either hydro assist or full hydro steering. (I have a 60 and 10.25 for sale but I'm in PA)

Not to sound rude, but if this is a serious question your not ready or seem able to take on a project like this. I jumped into my SAS way before I should have dont make the same mistake I did.

its not rude at all.i know the basics but never done a ranger before thats why i am askin i dont mind takin a while to get it right i have all the time in the world for it just want to make sure i get it right

my tcase is already trashed and i need new hubs any ways so i figure hell i might as well build a bad ass junk yard truck small block and all
